Help with unknown program ''emerger''

Hi,

I noticed this program on the startup list today.
Don't remember installing anything like it. When I google it n
information is found.
Does anybody know what this is, or what it does? Atm I've disabled i
from the running on startup. Should I delete it

It is 'egermer' with accent over e, not emerger.

I also tried to do a network search for it, but didn't find any info.

Does it show in Control Panel / Programs and Features?

Anyway, it sounds very fishy to me. I would keep it disabled for a few days
and delete it at the end of the week.

I would do some thorough malware scanning...
