HELP with updates

First off I hate the shitty ass vista program.

second I keep trying to update my computer because it is acting so crazy and
it is 100% the software not my Alienware comps problem. I am trying to
install the update service pack because i need it for my photoshop cs4 to
install. Every time it goes to update its the same old thing I get these two
codes 80080008 and 80070490. it doesnt tell me what or how to fix this and
getting ahold of Microsoft is like trying to get ahold of the president. so
if I could get some help thanks

You could start educating yourself or opt for another operating system.

Updating an already 'crazy' acting operating system won't make it running
normal.

3rd party software programs should not be the main reason for updating
and/or upgrading an operating system; They are first and formost strongly
recommended for security reasons.

1.Clear the (IE) temporary Internet files and the history cache.
Click 'Start' and then click 'Run'... then type (or copy/paste)
"inetcpl.cpl" (w/out quotation marks) into the box, then click the 'OK'
button.
In Internet Properties panel 'General' tab, under 'Browsing history', click
'Delete...'button, in 'Delete Browsing History' panel, click the 'Delete
all...' button then place a checkmark into the box beside 'Also delete
files and settings stored by add-ons', Click 'Yes' and exit the Internet
Properties panel by clicking the 'OK' button.

2.Clean HDD
Delete files using Disk Cleanup (if on Vista)
