Help - Vista + BSOD Stop 0x000000ED

Started windows player one day after no problems with the laptop and i
crashed giving the BSOP wth error message

unmountable boot volum

Can't do anything, wont let me into safe mode, recovery, normal start-u
or anything. any ideas

Sounds like your hard drive has possibly failed. Obtain a copy of the hard
drive manufacturer's test software or see if your computer supports BIOS
hard drive testing and reporting.
