Help about windows explorer (italian)

Hi! i'm new and on first i want t sorry for my english! when i open windows
vista i cannot see and play the applications and the desktop. It say that
theres an error about windows explorer, it not answer (i hope that i've not
wrong to explain).
I'm sorry for my english...i'm italian, and i don't know the tecnical terms!

Have you tried rebooting Windows in Safe Mode, then run an Antivirus scan to
check for viruses. Also, while you are in Safe Mode, you could try reverting
the system to an earlier point in time using System Restore before you
started experiencing this problem. Have you recently installed any
applications or devices that might have caused this?
