HELP! Windows Explorer keeps crashing.

I allowed an update, Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2009
(KB890830), to be installed this morning.

Now, Windows Explorer keeps crashing every time I try to do a copy from one
folder to another. As soon as I click on "Edit | Paste" I get the dialog box
that says "Windows Explorer has stopped working."

So far, it only happens in Windows Explorer. Office 2007 still allows me to
copy and paste.

Helo Ande,

Empty your IE cache and your other temporary file folders, eg: c:\temp,
c:\windows\temp or C:\Documents and Settings\<name>\Local Settings\Temp (the
path to your temp folder will change depending on your name)


Reboot
