HELP! windows update won't let me update......

i just downloaded windows 98se and went to windows update to begin the
process of fine tuning my system.....windows said "scan for updates" so i
clicked it and the message came up that said it encountered a problem and can
not display the required page.....it says the error message is
0x80072f89.......i clicked on support information...then the
troubleshooter...then "problems reaching update" i could not find any with
the error code that i had recieved. good luck
