Please help. I recently bought Acer Aspire 4720z only weeks ago with windows
vista installed on it. It came with a 250GB hard drive partition, C and D.
Because of the delicate nature of vista, i decide to install windows xp on
the second partitioned drive. To my suprise, when i restarted my computer, it
did not prompt me with the choice of opertating system to choose. It goes
straight to the newly installed OS (windows XP). However, i still can see and
access my C drive which contains the preinstalled windows vista from my
computer manufacturers from windows xp platform. What do i need to do to
enable both operating system (windows vista and windows xp) to prompt durring
boot up so that i could swith in between both? Thank you.

Hit F8 right after the beep when you boot up or reboot.

Boot from the Vista disk and run a "Startup Repair".
