Help with windowsupdate code - error 0x8024000c

Hi all,
any assistance with this code appreciated. Here's a snippet
from the log:
2004-10-13 17:41:54-0700 632 31c ISusInternal API
failed CClientCallRecorder:isconnectCall with error 0x8024000c

Error 0x8024000C is

SUS_E_NOOP
no operation is needed


I don't think this error is a critical error. Do you have any
other error numbers in the log?

Hi Torgeir,
this is the only other thing I see:
WUAUENG ServiceMain exits. Exit code is 0x240001

Automatic updates is not working, but manual updates
via the windowsupdate website works fine.

I have AU set to "notify me but don't automatically download"
Yesterday morning I got a notification about 834707.
I selected it for download, the ! icon disappeared and didn't return.
Whether it downloaded or not, don't think so.
What happened?
