HelpCtr.exe/system information unstable after window updates

HelpCtr.exe and system information (msinfo32.exe) hanging/crashing after
installing either october security update or MCE 2005 rollup 2 updates. Also
all the helpctr.exe, other help process stay and does not close at all i have
to either restart and end them on the taskmanager.

Hi i am and have been experienceing the exact same thing, if you find out how
to fix it please let me know Thanks

Hi,

Please try this:

Click Start then select Run and type in:

helpctr.exe -regserver
regsvr32.exe itss.dll
regsvr32.exe hhctrl.ocx
regsvr32.exe jscript.dll

Press OK after each one
