Hi, for Xmas I gave my kids a Turtles PC game...

....and tried to install this on our main computer. It failed, in spite of
having the recommended requirements. Any experience? We have WinXP, more than
1 GHz, more than 256 RAM, NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti and a GamePad Saitek P880.
Please, give me a clue...

Check with the game manufacturer.
Often manufacturers have FAQs that will answer the most common questions and
problems people have.

Also since this is a Windows Update newsgroup you should take this to a more
appropriate newsgroup if the manufacturer is no help:
