Hibernate and Sleep fail!!

Ok i think this could be a virus but to be honest i'm not really sure

I've only been running avg free version so i haven't get the bes
protection

This all started about 4-5 days ago, when i loaded my pc back fro
hibernate (I <3 hibernate) and i play a few games, pass a few hours,
go to hibernate my laptop once more, and the screen flashed twice an
then just logged out! The exact same happens for sleep. I don't know i
it's been deleted from my system 32, but i haven't touched anything ove
there, even though i did make a shortcut to put on my taskbar. I reall
need help you guys, i've tried all forums, i used msconfig to turn i
on, but it still flashes twice then fails

I'm almost having the same problem. I click "Sleep" (either in
RocketDock or the Start Menu), and it fades out to black and instantly
pops back to the desktop; never sleeping. Sometimes it'll fade out and
actually turn off my screen, but turn it back on if I move the mouse. It
never went into sleep mode; just acted like it would.

My HP's sleep mode worked perfectly when I first got it but after the
first round of Vista updates it's never worked right again. I had the
same thing happen on a prior home built computer I put vista on.

yh im using rocket dock aswell, and i used hibernate shortcut once on i
i think and now they have stopped working, Perhaps it's the root of al
evil
