Hibernate does not work when docked

I have a Lenovo R61 with Vista Business installed. When the Laptop is
docked,the functions Hibernate and Shutdown do not work as expected.
Both do shutdown Vista but re-power on the Laptop almost immediatley.

I have read about USB devices that might cause this behaviour but it
happens even if all USB devices are removed.

Anyone out there who has some idea?
