What type of system do you have? You should still be able to get into BIOS
by pressing the appropriate key and holding it as soon as you power it on.
Also, pressing and holding the F8 key just after power up should bring up
your Vista boot menu. If you can get it to come up, pick Safe Mode and see
if it starts then.
Another thing to try is to get into BIOS and make sure your DVD drive is
first in the boot order. You should then be able to start from your Vista
DVD and run start-up repair.
If you turn it on and wait 5 or 6 minutes, do you get a BSOD or any error
messages?
