How to hide updates that I don't want to install

In window updates there is an update that I would like to hide (store)(NOT
INSTALL).
Can anyone tell me how I can hide it? I see where there is a way to restore
it, but I can't seem to find a way to hide it! If you can't hide it,
everytime you boot up, an icon appears in the task bar that shows this update
is available for installation. Now, that is annoying!!!!
I am running Vista Home Premium on my PC.

Hide Windows Update
To hide an update, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, point to All Programs, and then click either Windows Update or Microsoft
Update.
2. Click Custom.
3. Click to clear the check box that is next to the update that you want to hide.
4. Expand the update that you want to hide, and then click the "Don't show this update
again" check box.


If it has already downloaded, then select custom, then you'll have a list, uncheck the
update you don't want and then you should get an option to hide.
