Hiding optional updates in Vista Ultimate

Every time I check windows update it gives me a list of 34 optional language
packs to install. How do I hide these so they don't show up? Thank you for
your help.

How to hide updates -
Click View available updates
Right-click on the update you wish to hide
Click Hide Update
Confirm the UAC (User Account Control) if appropriate.

To restore/unhide updates -
Click the Start button.
Select Control Panel.
Click System And Maintenance. If you are using Classic View, then skip this
step.
Select Windows Update.
Click Restore Hidden Updates.
On the Restore Hidden Updates page, find and select the update you wish to
install and click Restore.

You can now reselect it and install through the normal process.
