I have a Dell Inspiron 1545 running MS Win Vista sp3.
In the log in screen, on the left hand side, there is an entry to change
some options.
I turned on the "High constrast" mode.
After a while, I turned it off. Unfortunately, now the background color to
everything is now black, which is annoying and I want to reset it.
I went back and tried to set and unset the high constrast mode, but that
does not affect the background choice of black now.
If anyone knows how to reset that, please send me mail at
deodiaus at yahoo dot com
I will try to follow up in this newsgroup, but in case I forget.
thanks,

Hello Deodiaus,

I'm not able to help you, I still with Windows Vista Premiun SP2.

Maybe if you UNinstall MS Win Vista sp3, the "High constrast" go away.

If you find the answer to your problem, please let us know! Hopefully
someone else can benefit from your solution.

PS: Never post or use your real email addяess in a public newsgroup or forum!

Try using system restore to a point before you set the high contrast
mode. Not sure it will work, but it's a simple approach.
