High Priority Downloads OK but Optional Downloads Loop

All of the normal, high priority downloads instal OK but an optional software
download triggers the MS Update page Welcome screen again but within the
original screen layout (ie : A miniture version of the screen within the full
sized one). This seizes up if the express or custom buttons are clicked on.
The result is that I cannot even find out what the optional software update
is let alone download it. Annoying.

If BitComet is installed then suggest you disable the Add-on from within
Internet Explorer, Tools, Manage Add-ons, before trying to access
Optional downloads.

Many thanks for your assistance. Disabling BitComet did the trick.
