It depends on how you are playing your music. If you are just playing
tracks at random from "Songs" then you will indeed get "Fairytale of New
York" when you least expect it!
I use an Auto Playlist to control what I hear. I mark all of my
Christmas music with Subgenre=Christmas then at Christmas time I add the
selection Subgenre=Christmas to the playlist criteria. On 12th night,
I'll remove that addition.
