I don't believe that to be the case. You should check out
www.aumha.org/secure.htm. It sounds as if your browser has been hijacked.
The web site is run by MVP Jim Eshelman, and he's got a lot of free programs
listed there (plus an online browser checker), along with some very good
security forums.
