Home Premium & Windows Fax & Scan

Hi,

I am contemplating a new system and, from the info on the MS Site, Vista Home
Premium looks good for me.

I have one small issue which I need some advice on. I have an Epson
multifunction (all in one) printer which appears, from the Epson site to have
Vista drivers available.

However I notice that Home Premium does not have the Windows Fax & Scan
features. I presume that this is something for corporate systems and I will
still be able to Scan on my Epson device using Home Premium?

Just wanted to check here before I get out my cheque book!

Thanks in advance.

Steve

You must address your question to Epson. It has nothing to do with Windows
Fax and Scan.

Only Windows Vista Ultimate, Business and Enterprise have Windows Fax and Scan.

Epson might provide Vista compatible scanning applications.

Snappy Fax is Vista compatible and relatively inexpensive.

But for the record WFS does not and cannot use the modems in all in one
devices, so the Vista version is not in play here.
