Hopeless female needs some vista help

Hello,
I recently purchased a brand new comp...only issue i have with it i
that everytime i try and open my work email server i get the followin
error message and the window closes. I am not overly computer savy so a
answer that would suit an ignoramus such as myself would be appreciated
I am using Vista home for the first time.

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library

Runtime error!
Program: C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an usua
way. Please contact the applications support team for more information.

try installing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library.

As an alternate suggestion try other light wait browsers like firefox

No I do not think I should get instant service.....nor do i us
drivethroughs! It was just disheartning watching other posters receivin
answers to their enquiries that were posted after mine....so I wondere
if i was posting in the right place. From experience I have found tha
females DO get treated differently, and often ignored on tech typ
forums. I figured it was easier to be honest in about my technica
limitations than to receive an answer and have no clue how to go abou
implimenting it...and then have to waste peoples time further asking fo
an explanation.

I tried installing the latest Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
unfortunately this didnt bring me any luck, but thanks anyway. Usin
firefox works, so I guess i will be satisfied with that. Thanks to thos
who proved helpful :
