horizontal scroll bar

my horizontal scroll bar was here one day gone the next how do i get it back
? i have looked in help etc but only tells you how to use scroll bar please
help vista home basic

A scroll bar, whether vertical or horizontal, is a feature of some
particular application, not of Vista.

So this has nothing to do with Vista. In what application have you
lost the horizontal scroll bar? Be aware that if the Windows is wide
enough and there is nothing to scroll, the scroll bar will normally
disappear.

i am not sure what you mean by which application could you give me some
suggestion on where to look for i am a beginner know basic of windows
