Since I put in Win 7
My Media Center is unusable.
The video lags so bad it is unwatchable.
During live or recorded it's slow with the audio out of sync and it's just
awful.
I used to use it all the time but it's a waste of time,
Here is what my system has:
Windows 7
Dell XPS 410
4G Ram
Dual Core Processor 4300 @1800 GHZ Processors
Nvidia GeForce 9400GT
Dell 2408 WFP Digital Monitor
ACPI x86 Based proscessor
Media Center Version 6.1.7600.16385(win_7rtm.090713-1255)

Can someone PLEASE help!!!!!
Thanks in advance
teresa

Have you checked the CPU usage? Sometimes high CPU usage may create such
situation.

Check for updates to your card driver at Nvidia.com the ones you got from MS
could be out of date or incompatible with your configuation.

I appreciate all of the responses
I have a NVidia driver from Jan of 2010.
I really try to stay up on those things.
I am not afraid of the registry, if I need to tweak something...
And... it does do this for live, and recorded video.
What I would love is is if could do away completely with wtv format,
it has never worked right and go back to good ol drv-ms.
Is it possible to watch and record in that format or another?
ANYTHING but what it is doing now?
Thanks again everyone for all of the help,
Teresa

You can easily covert a recorded file from .wtv format to dvr-ms.

Go to the folder where your recorded TV files are stored (usually
C:\Users\Public), right-click the file that you want to convert, and then
click Convert to .dvr-ms Format.

Yes, and I appreciate that...I have been doing that, but to be honest
it's a real pain in the hiney.

I just don't understand with all of the goodies I have why I can't get this
darn thing to work.
I can not tell you how frustrated I am!!!!!
