Windows Vista Home Premium

I have the problem that randomly windows host processes stops working and
must close after this i cannot start or install programs getting the error
that the pipe state is invalid. folders revert to windows classic look and
freeze often.

I believe the problem is with my security software - Panda 2008 but after a
long time of email support from them they cannot find a problem or a solution

any ideas here?

Thanks

Maybe, you should get rid of Panda.

If your system is reverting to Windows Classic, you should consider
that perhaps your display drivers are malfunctioning.

Download an install the latest drivers for your display card (BETA
drivers do not count). If that does not work, try a different graphics
card.

I may be able to help more if I knew exactly which process it is that
is being terminated, but it sounds like DWM.EXE (Desktop Windows
Manager) or something else that could be related to Aero perhaps.
