Hotfix Availability

Anyone have any idea how to contact Microsoft about a hotfix that cannot be
accessed.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/943545

When you try to request the hotfix, the site replies "The system is
currently unavailable. Please try back later, or contact support if you want
immediate assistance." but the only tech support available costs $99 and up.
Doesn't seem like I should have to pay for a hotfix.

Thanks,

Dan

Works fine here, I requested the hotfix at:
http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/...545&kbln=en-us
and they emailed me an HTTP link and password.

Hi Dan --

I contacted Customer Support Services and they told me that you don't have
to pay for hotfixes. Just go to that URL (which I just tested and it worked
OK for me, so hopefully if you try again it will work for you too),
click the download link and enter your email address. Hopefully that works
for you.

Thanks --

Hello Dan,

The webpage works fine for me. And as already said hotfixes are for free,
even if you call Microsoft support.

Best regards
