I have a successfully SUS installed and configured for many months now, but
I have several PC's that are being prompted to install the same updates
everyday. The
updates range from the KB824145 and KB828750 updates, to theKB831167, and
several others. They keep asking to be installed. You install them, it says
it was a success, but the
next day they are back. I have tried the forced install trick:

q824145.exe /q /r:n /n:v

q828750.exe /q /r:n /n:v

q831167.exe /q /r:n /n:v

but it does not seem to have fixed the issue of continuing to request to
install these hotfixes.

Does anyone know a tried and true solution?

thanks

Could you open the logs for those three fixes and post the
last few lines of them in response to this posting? They
should look something like this:

RebootNecessary = 0,WizardInput = 1 , DontReboot = 1
***

The logs should be located under the names you provided
(q824145.log, q828750.log, and q831167.log) in the
following directory: %windir%. You can open them with the
following lines:

notepad %windir%\q824145.log
notepad %windir%\q828750.log
notepad %windir%\q831167.log
..

Hi, I do have the same problem. But I can't find the logs for my fixes. They
are KB823353, KB837009, KB832894, KB824145 and KB828750.
