How can I keep getting into the Hotmail (not 'In Box'- just Hotmail) desktop
shortcut that's on my laptop (Vista Prem)? It opens a few times with no
problems then I'll get the "Enable Cookies" message. I have wireless for both
the laptop and pc (XP) and keep them set to 'hibernate'. No problems at all
with pc, even after wireless refreshes; not so with laptop. Sometimes I can
open Hotmail shortcut after refresh, sometimes no. And sometimes it suddenly
asks for cookies even though I just got into it and didn't close the lid.

Perhaps you go to websites that require that cookies be enabled and without
that you are not allowed to do what you want. They want to identify you as a
user that has been there before, signed in and has their cookie in the
machine?

Do you have Internet security on the High?

My problem is opening the Hotmail shorcut using laptop (laptop security is at
medium and pc is medium high). I have laptop privacy set to low and both
live.com and msn.com as 'allow' in privacy/sites.

I'm wondering if the problem could be from going back and forth between
getting to Hotmail through My MSN and also directly using the shortcut?

Marlene - Is it set to "Always allow session cookies"? Cookies are harmless.
