hotmail emails and messenger contacts self deleting

Hi My hotmail and windows msn contacts are self deleting. I have not changed
any settings. I turned off the computer and when I came back the last 3
months emails and all of my messenger contacts were gone. I can't seem to
find any of the emails or contacts. It has done this on 1 other previous
occasion. I am using Vista Home. What can I do please help. Thanks
