Hotmail not working after update

After installing a Windows 2000 update on Sep 19, I'm unable to sign in to
hotmail. Does anyone know a fix for this?

The updates were
Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB833989) Automatic
update
Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 (KB867801)
