hotmail opens in new window

I can't figure this out. Some other programs do this but hotmail in
particularly and most annoying. When I try to sign in to hotmail a new
window opens. Then I go to window #2 that opened and enter my name and
password and says there's an error in what I entered (there isn't_- it then
goes back to window #1 and opens a new tab where I again enter my "wrong"
(it's actually right) password and it usually opens.

Now I want to switch to another email using the link button which worked
fine before. Sometimes it will open the new email in the same page but
mostly it opens up the page in window #2 and of course it won't open because
I'm already signed in.

Basically the same thing happens when I want to sign out. over to window #2
then click done and back to window #1 where it may or may not have signed out
of my email. By the way everytime it goes from one window to the next it is
opening new tabs.

It was working fine until just recently. I have gone through the internet
settings and don't see what's wrong. Please help!! Thanks

It's likely you have a corrupt cookie. Rather than delete them all, look for
the 'live.com' cookie in the Temp. Internet Files. (Internet Options/view
files button

I wish that was it but no. I regularly delete my cookies. Thank you for
your help though. Can you think of anything else?

What happens if you use a real browser like Firefox? Also, Hotsnail has
had some problems lately.
