hotmail sign in

I am having trouble signing in to my hotmail account, it allows me to enter
my email address and password, then instead of opening my inbox it comes up
with windows live id is unavaliable from this site for one of the following
reasons - this site may be experiencing a problem or the site may not be a
member of windows live id..... why is this happening and how can I fix it....

This has nothing to do with Windows Update. You will need to repost this to the microsoft.public.msn.discussion
