Hi,

Microsoft seems so proud of his partership with Dell... I've bought a M2010
three months ago, and since then, Vista crashes all the time (every day). It
frozes, I cannot access my document. I get error such as : "File indexer
crash", "Windows stops with any reason". I even get back those "famous" blue
screen that I thought XP had put far behind.

It's true that the visual appearance is way coooler than XP, that management
of file is easier and that search is finer... but what's the point, if you
have to restart your computer 2-3 times per night because it frozed.

I've tried to download every patches I could, even reinstall it... nothing
to do!!

I just hope to be reimbursed!!!

Your problems are likely more the result of all the "Crapware" software
that Dell installs on it's computers, than Vista. The 1st thing after
turning
on a new Dell PC ( except Vostro line ) is go to Control Panel ( Classic
View ) Programs applet and uninstall all the junk they add.

Nope, only for those with IQs under 60. Do you qualify?

Cheers.

BTW, i knew this crap... I always uninstall all the software preinstalled as
they consume a lot of memory usage.

I post this comment 'cause without anything load yet, it crashes!!

I've stayed 2 hours with Dell Consumer service today and all they say was
buy a XP version instead... but I won't get reimbursed! Someone is laughing
of us out there! I just wish I'm not the developpers teams... they must bang
their heads over the walls these days.

Thanks for the Linux wishes.... I would love Linux but haven't found one
version that is nice enough... Would prefer migrating to MAC OS then!
