HP DeskJet 895 Printerdriver for NT4-Clients

Dear all,

I have the problem, that I can't get a working Printerdriver for NT4 Clients
installed on my W2K3-Server.
(I downloaded the NT-Printerdrivers from HP's Homepage, modified the
INF-File for matching the Driver's name and installed the drivers)
But ...
- either I get an error messages when opening the properties dialog on NT4
- or the Printjobs stay in the Queue with "Error".

Anyone out there who has set up that and may give some advice.

Kernel mode NT4 printer drivers won't work on Windows Server 2003. There's
a policy workaround which might make it work but I don't recommend it. I
support too many print servers which unknowing admins put bad printer
drivers on. Keep your NT4 drivers on an NT 4.0 server. Then get rid of the
NT4 clients so you can eventually get rid of the NT 4.0 server.
