HP Multimedia Keyboard/ KB908531 issues / April update a mess

I have a HP Multimedia Keyboard and now i cannot customize the shortcut
button because the tab button or button tab on the keyboard properties is
missing after installing this critical update KB908531 on Microsoft Update.

I've been waiting for Microsoft Update to update the faulty KB908531 that
cause some application to not work properly but i have not receive it. Where
can I download the software? is it even available?

does anyone here have the same issue that i'm having?

Any Update on this issues that I've been having for the past couple of months
now. has anyone around here who have HP Multimedia keyboard found a way on
getting back the software that customize my internet button or shorcut button
on keyboards?

You can get the button edits back by uninstalling KB908531, then
rebooting. Since editing these buttons isn't usually an everyday task,
you can then reinstall the KB update.

HP advised me that they were working on a solution(rather than this
kludgy work-around) over a week ago, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

Well here we are in september 4 month later, and still I have that same
problem. I just installed 43 windows updates on my computer, and now it is no
longer posible for me to customize the shortcut buttuns on my HP keyboard. I
just wonder why this error has not been fixed yet?? And offcause the solution
that Bill Sharpe gives is ok for now, but please I want my buttons back for
good :-) Well I´m new into this fascinating world of computers, so i wonder
if I should contact HP or Microsoft? And I wonder if I should just uninstall
the update that causes the problems for good, or if it is an essential thing
in my cmputer?? And I wonder if anyone has more news to this??
