Hp officejet 6110

Every few months i have to uninstall and reinstall printer. Just stops
printing. Jobs in que but doesn't print. Cant print from notepad, word, etc.
Hp has not helped. Any answers?

I thought perhaps someone might know if there is a problem with xp system and
this particular printer. Sorry to intrude.
