Hp Pavilion dv4040us not being able to visit some sites after frid

I can only visit some pages from my web broser. Problem happens on both
Firefox and IE. Internet connection is working properly. I'm able to connect
using a GPRS T-Mobile card that creates a new wireless internet environment.
With the new connection I can just go everywhere at slower speed of course.
First not-working connection is thru wireless/cable modem combo.

I've been reading a lot about all these problems after the patches last
weekend and decided to uninstall them. I uninstalled all of them (4 in total)
but problem persists. It is clear it stopped working or started working
on/off after patch. Since the patch in 2/19 I've been experiencing frequent
lags and unreliable internet experience. I know this is not caused by a virus.

I talked to HP tech support, they are completely clueless about the issue
but it is now well known across the planet. If you happen to have anything
to add please start with this thread.
