HP PAVILLION 6207TX WITH VISTA ERROR CODE 80070103

I am running Vista on a HP and Windows Update says the installation of my
Hewlett-Packard - Other Hardware - psc 2200 (DOT4USB) has failed. I have
tried it 3 times and googled it and searched the Microsoft website. Please
help.

You should NOT use winupdate for hardware drivers, use only the
manufacturers sites, and then unless its to cure a bug or increase
functionality why update a driver?
If it aint broke, dont fix it
