HP Photosmart C3135 Help

Hello, I am having trouble installing my HP Photosmart C3135 printer
on my laptop. I am getting an error message that reads "This software
can not be installed using the "Run as..." command. Installation can
not continue until this is resolved." Can anyone give me some help
with this. I would really appreciate it.

If there is a "setup.exe" on the CD-ROM, right-click on it and select "Run
as administrator". It might be enough to get the thing installed.

You need to be more specific - what "steps" did you go through to install?
Did you adhere to HP install instructions? Did you specifically chose {Run
as..."?

I'm sorry. I inserted the disc and it gave me an error message saying
the disc was not compatable with Vista so I went to the HP website
through the link provided and downloaded the application to allow the
disc to run. I then tried again and it gave me that message. I
didn't choose "Run as... " I don't know if that is a default or what.
I hope this enough because ir's all I really know and I really need to
load this printer. Thanks Again!!!

Good - I hope so to - if the install fails .. wait a moment .. Vista might
come back at you with an offer to install the drivers/application with
settings that are "compatible". Be patient as you are doing the install and
even if it balks wait a few minutes before removing the disc [or whatever]
because Vista usually will make more than one try [using different
settings].
