Hung up Security Pack 2

I have Windows XP. It has taken over an hour for my Security Pack 2 to
update. It seems to be stuck on something about cleaning up. Any suggestions
on what I should do? (I'm not real technically gifted!)

I have a bad feeling I should have left well enough alone. Darn. Thank you!

I had a similar experience with my Dell. I hit the reset button, the
computer
rebooted and all was fine.
