I have a Hauppauge HVR-1200 tv tuner built into my computer. When i set-up
Windows Media center it asks me whether I want it to look for Digital OR
Analog services. It works if i select either one, but i was wondering if it
were possible to program in both as some channels here havent gone digital
yet. Whenever i try and add services for the other type of broadcast it
replaces the one i've already programmed.

MC requires that any configured tuner always be available for use.
A hybrid tuner can not use both tuners concurrently therefore MC will not
let you configure both.

Windows 7 has the first MC that "supports" hybrid tuners and in fact I've
had the opportunity to run a Hauppauge 1200 in 7MC. The 1200 tunes both
analog and digital clear QAM channels from a cable feed so the same should
be the case for off the air tuning. There is other software that supports
hybrid tuning but as far as MC the only way is Win 7 or possibly
