view the Update log in Windows:-
Click Start, and then click Run.
In the Open box, type: %windir%\windowsupdate.log
and then click OK.
Go to the end and work your way back.
Also check add/remove programs to see what was recently installed (make sure you have view
updates checked).

|I have a friend who's having trouble with his network connection
| following the most recent Patch Tuesday.
|
| I would like to know if there's any easy way to find out what updates
| were installed recently using just the machine, he can't get on the
| Internet.
|
| Windows Vista includes a basic list with dates in the Windows Updates
| utility. Is there something like this for XP?
