IDT High Definition CODEC

I recently reinstalled Windows XP onto my PC. I loaded all the appropriate
drivers and updates. The only problem that remains is with the sound card. I
have tried ALL of the troubleshooter suggestions. What is the solution for:

IDT High Definition CODEC
This device cannot start (Code 10)?
