IE is set to begin with a blank page. I use saved bookmarks to access a
desired site. When finished viewing a site (any site) I enter a new URL in
the address bar and IE halts and no longer responds. This is a recent
problem. I have not installed any new software or changed any configuration
options. Just yesterday I re-installed Servcie Pack 1 for IE and thought
that would correct the problem. It did not. I have always used Norton
Anti-Virus software (going on 10 years) and have never picked up a virus. I
also use Webroot Spyware which runs each morning. Sometimes spyware is found
but is it always removed. Any suggestions? Should I totally un-install IE
and install a fresh copy?
