Using Windows XP, IE 60, cable modem, and Linksys router, WEP enabled, Geek
Squad set it up 6 month ago in FL - have been in Canada for 6 months and had
a local service man redo the wireless to work - now returned to FL : I can
connect to Internet with direct connection from modem - can not connect
wireless or hard wired from linksys router -- the laptop show a wireless
connection does exist but IE shows error "page can not be displayed"

Reinstall the router and install any available firmware upgrades while
you're at it.
