Hi Susie,
I'm taking yet another guess here, but it could be possible that some add-on you have in IE
is trying to access the Messenger API and failing for some reason -- that certainly can
generate what you're explaining here.
To test this theory, click Start, then All Programs, then Accessories, then System Tools and
choose Internet Explorer (No Add-ons). After that IE comes up, go to some web sites, open a
few tabs and see if you can duplicate the problem.
