Since WHEN is a product upgrade critical? Afraid people won't download it?
IE7 is not all that great and it's user interface is poorly designed. It's
mostly right centric for a nation that is LEFTcentric, We start reading on
the left guys. Most of the commands that used to be on the left are on the
right! Also the toolbars are not movable! I was in the beta and uninstalled!
Also on ahigh rez screen the forward, back and refresh buttons are tiny.
THey said it was to maximize viewing area. Also no button for history you
have to hunt for it in the menus. I do love most MS products but this one
stuinks. If you want tabbed viewing download the windows live toolbar!
http://www.live.com. The IE guys are a throw back to the OLD MS that would
put new features in service packs! Don't install it! If you did call MS and
get them to help you remove it as it's cost them in the pocketbook. It's
wrong they forced it on you and they should pay for it.

It is said that when you uninstall IE7 your system should auto back to IE6 -
but some have had problems trying this.
For solution and wider range of advice, try posting in the below group/s

IE7 questions should be posted to the Internet Explorer General newsgroup as
below -

In your Newsreader:
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsof...plorer.general

If you need to use the Web Interface -
http://www.microsoft.com/communities...plorer.general

You need to tick the box that says Show Updates at the top of Add/Remove.

karimm gives directions to the IE 7 Removal Wizard on an msdm forum,
Oct 3. Here I quote from original down toward the bottom at:
http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...98967&SiteID=1

=quote quote quote quote quote quote quote quote quote quote=
Don't despair, there is a solution. I had the same problem.
My advise to everyone is DO NOT INSTALL IE 7 at all.
It can be removed by doing the following :-
Click on start
Go to My Computer
Click on Local Disk C
Click on Windows folder and open
Find and click on ie7 folder and open
Go to spunist folder and open
Locate Windows Service Pack and double left click icon
Double click on Uninstall Microsoft Corporation, this is the
Windows IE 7 Removal Wizard
Click next
Inspect Current Configuration will appear on the screen
If you have installed anything after IE 7, a list will be displayed,
you will be asked if you want to continue, if happy to do so, click Yes.
The process will then start to remove IE 7. Registry will be updated.
The following will then occur, Run process after uninstall, perform
clean up etc.
You should see the message IE 7 has been removed, restart computer
to complete uninstall.
This will take your computer back to IE 6, it did with mine.
Hope this helps.

P.S. This is procedure for XP, check www.microsoft.com for your version of windows and type the following in the
search box, uninstall internet explorer 7 for further help.
=end quote end quote end quote end quote end quote end quote end quote=
