IE 7 Problems

I have recently installed IE 7 after a few attempts, it now says successfully
installed......
Only problem is whenever I launch it it starts and sticks on connecting,
then just completely crashes, can't even end program in task manager as isn't
showing in list.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling all to no avail.
Has anyone had the same problem and managed to sort it or have any ideas
which might help?
Any responses greatly appreciated.

You may still have a horked install of IE7. I suggest reading the following
link...

http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install

....and then uninstalling and reinstalling IE7 per Sandi's tips, and using
http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx as the installation source,
not Automatic/Windows Update.

every time i try to update my computer it stayes at 0% how do i fix it?
