IE 8 - File Menu Issues

I am no longer able to use File | Send Page by E-mail... or Link by
E-mail...; They are greyed out. Shortcut to desktop, the third option is
ok. OS is Vista Premium 32 bit, I use Windows Mail (default) or
Incredimail - I do not use webmail.. This morning, I installed Windows Live
Essentials and Office Live Add-in ver 1.4 using Windows Upgrade- I have
since uninstalled them, but still no joy. Any assistance resolving this
problem will be appreciated.

Re-assert Windows Mail as your default. See
