How to install Adobe's Flash Player correctly.
1. Download required files:
Adobe Flash Player 3 MB
http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get...0_active_x.msi
Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller 205 KB
http://download.macromedia.com/pub/f...ash_player.exe
2. Disable anti-virus, temporarily.
3. Run the "Adobe Flash Player Uninstaller".
4. Run the installer "install_flash_player_10_active_x.msi".
5. Create then import this registry file to remove the kill-bit for Adobe Flash controls:
- Copy below and paste into Notepad.
----------copy-inside-only----------
REGEDIT4
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{8FFBE65D-2C9C-4669-84BD-5829DC0B603C}]
[-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\ActiveX Compatibility\{D27CDB6E-AE6D-11CF-96B8-444553540000}]
----------copy-inside-only----------
- Save-as IE_Flash.reg (or any name + .reg)
- Double-click or right-click and merge into the registry.
6. Flash uses ActiveX controls, so try resetting your Internet Explorer
Security Zones to their defaults. Set these to "enable":
- Binary and script behaviors --> enable
- Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins --> enable
- Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting* --> enable
- Active scripting --> enable
