IE closes when I go to Windows Update or type update into google

I have Win XP and it has automatic updates turned on and every time it tells
me there are updates to install, I click on the Update icon in the systray
and it opens then closes right away. I have no time to do anything. Also
whenever I go to google and type in update, my Internet Explorer
closes-everytime. I can type windows into it and it works fine, but if I
type windows update or just update it closes. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you have spyware on your PC. Try using one of the following to
scan for and remove it.

And of course you could try using MS's antispyware.

I found it, it was the Fatso virus
